Parts of Godalming St Peter and St Paul were merged into new parishes: Busbridge St John, Farncombe St John the Evangelist and Shackleford St. Mary the Virgin.

St Peter and St Paul is now part of United Parishan united parish is the merger of two or more Church of England parishes to form a single new parish of Godalming Minster comprising the churches of Hambledon St Peter Busbridge St. John, Godalming St Peter and St Paul, St Mark's Church Franklyn Road Godalming.


West Surrey Family History Society CD10(Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for
WSFHS CD15(Surrey Baptisms Not in the IGI) has Baptismal records for
WSFHS CD30(Ancient Parishes in the Guildford district) has baptismal records for Godalming St Peter and St Paul for 1582-1840, Marriages for 1583-1837 and Burials for 1583-1840.

The church is in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford. The Guildford Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving registers for this parish, is the Surrey History Centre.
