The parish of Clapham Park St Stephen was created from the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Streatham St. Mary and became a separate ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England in 1905. The original church was demolished in 1969 and rebuilt on the same site in 1974. In 2006 it became a United Parishan united parish is the merger of two or more Church of England parishes to form a single new parish with Telford Park St. Thomas. ST. A number of new parishes were created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Clapham Holy Trinity Clapham Park St Stephen was formerly part of Streatham St. Mary (sometimes known as Balham St. Mary). It became a separate parish in 1905.

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving parish registers for this church, is the London Metropolitan Archives.


Clapham is in the London Borough of Lambeth.
