The church of St Saviour was built ca 1864 and became a parish church ca 1876. The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England was created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Clapham Holy Trinity.

The St Saviour's was destroyed during World War 2 and the site sold for housing. The site is now occupied by flats (190 Cedars Road).

A number of new parishes were created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Clapham Holy Trinity Clapham Park St Stephen was formerly part of Streatham St. Mary (sometimes known as Balham St. Mary). It became a separate parish in 1905.
