The original Holy Trinity parish church was demolished under the authority of an Act of Parliament in 1774 and the new Holy Trinity parish church was opened in 1776 on the present site. A new chapel - St Paul - was built adjacent to the site of the old parish church

The Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Library has no inscriptions for Holy Trinity Clapham. There is a transcript in the Library of the Society of Genealogists in London

A number of new parishes were created from the of Clapham Holy Trinity

Clapham Park St Stephen was formerly part of Streatham St. Mary (sometimes known as Balham St. Mary). It became a separate parish in 1905.

Clapham Congregational Church from 1837-1865.

Clapham Holy Trinity from 1555-1808 & 1848-1854
Clapham St. James from 1829-1856

Clapham St. Paul for 1861-1876, and
Clapham St. Stephen for 1868-1877.

WSFHS CD29(A 2nd Collection of Metropolitan Surrey Burials Index) has burial records for Clapham Holy Trinity from 1808-1847.

WSFHS CD39(A 3rd Collection of Surrey baptisms mostly NOT in the IGI) has baptismal records for:

Clapham Holy Trinity from 1874-1875,
Clapham St John the Evangelist from 1843-76,
Clapham St. James from 1853-1876,
Clapham Park All Saints from 1859-1876.
Clapham Christ Church from 1862-1876.

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving parish registers for this church, is the London Metropolitan Archives.

Clapham is in the London Borough of Lambeth.
