WSFHS has no Monumental Inscription records for Godalming Quaker Meeting House.
Friends of Surrey Cemeteries (Surrey Cemeteries: a survey, 2012): Possibly the garden area was a burial ground as in Dorking. The other alternative is that Binscombe was used however this is at odds with the reference below to 137 burials as Binscombe notes refer to 161 burials there.
The Meeting House is in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Godalming St Peter and St Paul. The Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index has around 1100 names for St Peter and St Paul Godalming. The inscriptions were collected for WSFHS in 1984 by Alan & Kathleen Benny, We have also acquired an digital copy of Cokayne,G.E. Surrey parish registers & MI's, Volume IV which includes some Godalming St Peter and Paul MIs. This has not yet been transcribed.
