The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Balham Hill, The Ascension was created in 1884 from part of the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Streatham St. Mary and the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Clapham Holy Trinity. Streatham St. Mary is often known as Balham St.

There is no graveyard at the Ascension church. However earlier burials may have taken place at the former Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions churches -- Clapham or Streatham.
