WSFHS holds a copy of Alfred Bax's notes from St Nicholas Churchyard ca 1880 and of G.E. Cockayne's notebook for St Nicholas ca 1878. Both give only a selection of inscriptions.

Parts of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Tooting St Nicholas became parts of new ecclesiastical parishesan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England : Tooting All Saints (1903); Streatham St. Paul Furzedown (1923) and Tooting St Augustine (1926).
