The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Tooting St. Augustine was created in 1926 from parts of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Tooting St Nicholas; and the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Upper Tooting Holy Trinity which was itself created from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Streatham St. Leonard in 1855.

St Augustine's, together with Upper Tooting Holy Trinity forms part of the United Beneficean united benefice is a union of two or more Church of England parishes which remain distinct legal entities but share an Incumbant of Upper Tooting

There is no graveyard at St. Augustine's. However the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index has around 580 names from Tooting St Nicholas and around 1750 names from Streatham St. Leonard

WSFHS CD18 (Metropolitan Surrey Burials Index (including some Rural Parishes) has burial records for: WSFHS CD29(A 2nd Collection of Metropolitan Surrey Burials (including some Rural Parishes) has burial records for Tooting Graveney St. Nicholas from 1841-1866.

WSFHS CD39(A 3rd Collection of Surrey Baptisms) has christening records for Tooting Graveney St. Nicholas from 1845 to 1875

Upper Tooting Holy Trinity
WSFHS CD24. A 2nd Collection of Surrey Baptisms (not in The IGI) has christening records for Upper Tooting Holy Trinity from 1778 to 1865.

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving parish registers for this church, is the London Metropolitan Archives.
