This Roman Catholic church was opened in 1956 and replaced a temporary building. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of West Byfleet, St. John the Baptist. There is no graveyard at the Church. However, Brookwood Cemetery is just over eight miles away; Woking Crematorium about six miles distant, and the graveyard of the Roman Catholic church of Sutton Place St. Edward the confessor is just over six miles away. The church is in the Woking district of Surrey.
