of Camberwell Christ Church in 1888 which was itself was created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Camberwell St. Giles in 1838.
The church was built ca. 1886, was declared redundant in 1993 and demolished in 1994. In 1978 the the parish was renamed South Bermondsey St. Bartholomew. It is is now part of Bermondsey St. Katharine and St. Bartholomew. There was no graveyard at St. Batholomew's. WSFHS has around 1800 names for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Camberwell St Giles in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index; they come from a number of different sources. The dates range from the early 1700s to the late 1890s
