The Roman Catholic church of St. Mary of the Angels, Gomshall was built ca.1964 as a Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend to the Church of the Holy Ghost, Chilworth. It replaced a nissan hut that had been used for some years. The church closed around 2010 when the Franciscan Friars left Chilworth and the parish of the Holy Ghost was dissolved. The church of Our Lady of the Angels is now St. Augustine's Coptic Orthodox Church.

There was no graveyard at Our Lady of the Angels Church. The only Roman Catholic graveyard we know of in the area is Sutton Place, St. Edward the Confessor in Woking.

Many local cemeteries may have Roman Catholic sections see https://www.guildford.gov.uk/crematoriumandcemeteries
