The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of South Dulwich St. Stephen was created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Camberwell St. Giles in in 1868.

Part of the St Stephen's parish was moved into the new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Dulwich Common St. Peter in 1884.


There is no graveyard at St. Stephen's.

Older burials may have taken place at the former parish church - St. Giles. West Surrey Family History Society has around 1800 names for Camberwell St. Giles in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index; they come from a number of different sources. The dates range from the early 1700s to the late 1890s
