A Roman Catholic Mass Centre dedicated to St. Michael was opened in the 1950s in Woodhatch as a Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend to the Roman Catholic church of Reigate, Holy Family. The building was decommissioned in 2003 as beyond repair. It seems to have been at the junction of Cockshot Hill and Lime Close. The site is now occupied by a nursery.

There was no graveyard at St. Michael's church nor is there one at the Holy Family Church. Many local cemeteries may have Roman Catholic sections see https://www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk/info/20221/cemeteries


Reigate is in the Reigate and Banstead DistrictA district council is a second tier local authority that provides services such as planning and building control, waste collection, environmental health and housing. Surrey County Council is a first tier local authority. Civil parish councils are the bottom tier of local government in England of Surrey
