Originally built ca. 1863 and known then as the Nutley Lane Church. St. Philip's was extra parochial until it became a District Church in the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Reigate St. Mark ca. 1950. There is are no graveyards at St Philip's and St Mark's churches. Very early burials may have taken place at Reigate St. Mary Magdalene
West Surrey Family History Society CD10(The Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for WSFHS CD15(Surrey Baptisms Not in the IGI) has baptismal records for WSFHS CD24(A 2nd Collection of Surrey Baptisms) has burial records for Reigate St Luke for 1871 to 1876.
