Emmanuel Wimbledon is a "Proprietary Chapel" that stands outside the Church of England's parish structure. The church was built ca 1880.
There is no graveyard at Emmanuel Wimbledon. However earlier burials may have taken place in St. Mary's churchyard as that was the parish church. The Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index has some 2,400 names from inscriptions in Clarke's 1934 survey of St. Mary's churchyard. .
