The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Mitcham, Christ Church was created from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Mitcham St. Peter and St. Paul in 1875. The area was originally known as "Singlegate". The parish is now known as Collier's Wood Christ Church

Part of the parish of Mitcham Christ Church became the new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Streatham St. Paul in 1923

There is no graveyard at Christ Church. However there are 205 names for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Mitcham St. Peter and St. Paul in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index. The majority come from Robert Garroway Rice's survey of the church and churchyard made in 1878. There are also a few graves from World War 2

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office for churches and parishes in the modern administrative county of Surrey, and those London Boroughs that were in Surrey until 1965, is the Surrey History Centre.
