The church of St John the Evangelist, Waterloo Road was built ca. 1825 as Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend or District Church in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St. Mary Lambeth. It later became an [an error occurred while processing this directive] in its own right although the date is not clear.
The new ecclesiastical parishesan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Lambeth All Saints, Lower March was created ca. 1845 from part of St John's parish. However All Saints church was closed ca. 1910 and combined with St John's into the new parish of St John the Evangelist Waterloo Road with All Saints
