The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Vauxhall St. Peter was created from the parish of Lambeth St. Mary the Less in 1861. St. Mary the Less was itself created from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Lambeth St. Mary in 1842.

There is no graveyard at St. Peter's nor at St. Mary the Less. However older burials may have taken place at the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions -- Lambeth St. Mary.

WSFHS has a copy of Dr Howard's transcription of the graves in St Mary Lambeth taken around 1878.

Vauxhall St. Peter

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving parish registers for this church, is the London Metropolitan Archives.
