St Andrews Church was built after 1911 as a Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Horsell St. Mary. It seems to have been demolished in the 1980s. The site is now used for housing. The 1961 OS map shows it as being at the end of what is now Heather Close in Horsell.
There was no graveyard at the chapel, burials would have taken place at the parish church, Horsell St. Mary. The Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index includes around 480 names, including some war graves, from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Horsell St. Mary. The names date from the mid 1700s to the mid 1900s. The inscriptions were collected by Cliff and Dianne Webb in 1976

WSFHS CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for St Mary the Virgin Horsell from 1587 to 1588 and 1653 to 1865. WSFHS CD 26 Parish Register Transcripts and Indexes in the Chertsey District) has baptismal records for St Mary the Virgin Horsell from 1587 to 1588 and 1653 to 1865; and burial records from 1587 to 1588 and 1653 to 1865. The Guildford Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving registers for this parish, is the Surrey History Centre. Horsell is a village in the Woking district of Surrey.
