Elstead URC is in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Elstead St James.


There are around 250 names from Elstead St James in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions index. The inscriptions were noted in 1993. by Ingrid & Moritz Westcott.

Thursley Road cemetery (closed) and Woolfords Lane Cemetery are also in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Elstead St James. There was also a Roman Catholic chapel which closed ca 1985.
