The first Wesleyan Methodist chapel in Warlingham was built ca. 1839 in Leas Road although we haven't been able to trace the exact location. This was replaced by a building on the corner of Lingfield Road and Chapel Road around 1871, this is the building pictured. This building closed ca. 1960 when it was replaced by the present Methodist Church in Lingfield Road

The site of the former chapel is on the corner of Chapel Road and Lingfield Road and now seems to be a restaurant.
