St Barnabas ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England was created in 1884 from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St. Nicholas Sutton, the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Benhilton and the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Carshalton.

Other parts of the parish of Sutton St Nicholas were moved into Sutton Christ Church(1888) and Belmont(1916), Benhilton(1863) and parts of Benhilton were further moved to St Helier(1930).


West Surrey Family History Society CD10(Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for Sutton St Nicholas from 1636 to 1865.

WSFHS CD15(Surrey Baptisms Not in the IGI) has Baptismal records for Sutton St Nicholas from 1860-1876. CD 15 also contains baptismal records for Sutton Methodist chapel from 1868-1876.

WSFHS CD44(Some Ancient Parishes in the Epsom District (July 2015)) has records for Sutton St Nicholas:
