Before 1 April 1965 Staines was in the former county of Middlesex. It was transferred into Surrey by the London Government Act 1963

The West Surrey FHS holds no monumental inscriptions for Staines.
West Surrey Family History Society CD24 (A 2nd Collection of Surrey Baptisms not in The IGI) has baptismal records for Staines St. Mary from 1748/9 to 1812 (Dec)

WSFHS CD29 (A 2nd Collection of Metropolitan Surrey Burials) has Burial records for Staines St. Mary from 1772 to 1866.

WSFHS CD39 (A 3rd Collection of Surrey Baptisms) has baptismal records for Staines St. Mary from 1692 to 1750 and from 1813 to 1876.

WSFHS CD40 (A 2nd Collection of London & Middlesex Baptisms) has baptismal records for Staines St. Mary from 1692 to 1750.
