The original church was built ca. 1838 and the new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Rotherithe Holy Trinity was created in 1841 from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Rotherhithe St. Mary. The graveyard was closed to new burials in 1858. In September 1940 the original church was destroyed by bombs. The present church was built ca. 1957 on the same site.

West Surrey Family History Society has no monumental Inscriptions for Rotherhithe, Holy Trinity.

West Surrey Family History Society CD29(A 2nd Collection of Metropoitan Surrey Burials) has burial records for Rotherhithe St Mary from 1813-1855 and 1859-1878

WSFHS CD39(A 3rd Collection of Surrey Baptisms) has baptismal records for Rotherhithe St Mary from 1752-1764 and 1869-1875.

The church is in the Church of England Diocese of Southwark. The Southwark Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving parish registers for this church, is the London Metropolitan Archives.
