This Roman Catholic church was opened ca. 1977. There is no graveyard.

It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England church of Addlestone, St. Paul, which is a short walk from Holy Family church. Addlestone was originally in the Church of England Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Chertsey
