Christ Church Richmond was built around 1893, created from part of the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England
of Richmond St. John the Divine which was itself originally a Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend to Richmond St. Mary Magdalene.

There are around 2,700 names for Richmond in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index. They come from a variety of sources, including the Archives of the Surrey Archaeological Society.
