This Roman Catholic church opened ca 1937 after a period when mass was said in a temporary hut and a school hall.


There is no graveyard at St. Teresa's church. However earlier burials may have take place at the Anglican church of Morden St. Lawrence which was the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions church

The church is located in the Anglican ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of St. Helier St.Peter

We know of only three Roman Catholic cemeteries in the London area, St. Mary's in Kensal Green, St. Patrick's in Leytonstone, and St. Mary Magdalene in Mortlake.
