The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Streatham Immanuel was created in 1855 from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Streatham St Leonard.

Parts of the parish of Streatham Immanuel were moved into new ecclesiastical parishesan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England : Lower Streatham St. Andrew was also known as South Streatham St. Andrew.

The original church was demolished ca. 1988 and a new church built on part of the site of the original church, from which only the tower remains.

The Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index has no records for Streatham Immanuel. However there are around 1750 names for Streatham St Leonard in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index.
