The Surrey Monumental Inscription Index has thirty names for Lower Norwood Congregational Chapel. They are taken from Alfred Bax's survey made on 13 Dec 1884. Our thanks to Surrey Archaeological Society for allowing us to copy material from their archives.

The building is now occupied by a day nursery. It is located in the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of West Norwood St. Luke which was itself was created from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St. Mary Lambeth in 1825
