The Roman Catholic church of St Pius X was built as a Chapel of EaseA daughter church within an ecclesiastical Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend to the Church of St Joseph, New Malden It became a separate ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England in 1978.

The Church of St Pius X is located in the Anglican ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Norbiton St. Peter. There is no graveyard at St. Pius X church nor in St. Peter's. Earlier burials may have taken place at Kingston All Saints which was the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions church.


West Surrey Family History Society CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for Kingston on Thames All Saints from 1542 to 1840.

WSFHS CD15 (Surrey Baptisms Not in the IGI, 2009) has burial records for Kingston on Thames St. John the Evangelist from 1870 to 1875.

WSFHS CD 18 (Metropolitan Surrey Burials Index) has burial records for Kingston on Thames All Saints from 1841 to 1866

WSFHS CD 28 (Ancient Parishes in the Kingston District) has Baptismal records for Kingston on Thames All Saints from 1541 to 1840; Marriages from 1543 to 1837; and, Burials from 1542 to 1840.

We know of only three Roman Catholic cemeteries in the London area, St. Mary's in Kensal Green, St. Patrick's in Leytonstone, and St. Mary Magdalene in Mortlake.
