Seale was originally a ChapelryA Chapel of Ease within an Anglican Parish, or a chapel in an outlying area of the parish that is more convenient for parishioners to attend in the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Farnham . It became a separate Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions in 1539.

West Surrey Family History Society has around 900 names for Seale in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index. The inscriptions were noted originally in 1977 and updated in 1984 They date from the 17th to 20th Centuries.

West Surrey Family History Society CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index 2009) has burial records for Seale St Laurence from 1538 to 2005.

WSFHS CD15 (Surrey Baptisms Not in the IGI 2009) has baptismal records for Seale St Laurence from 1764 to 1812.

WSFHS CD42 (Ancient Parishes in the Farnham District 2014) has baptismal records for Seale St Laurence from 1539 to 1840; and burial records from 1538 to 1840

Seale is village in the (civil) parisha Civil Parish is the bottom most tier of local government in England Sometimes called Town Councils in urban areas

[NB Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have different systems of local government]
of Seale and Sands in the Guildford District of Surrey
