The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Onslow Village All Saints was created from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Guildford St. Nicolas in 1933. The parish name was changed to Guildford All Saints in 1968.


There is no graveyard at All Saints church. Older burials may have taken place at the former parish church - St. Nicolas or in one of the civil cemeteries. There are around 220 names from St. Nicolas in Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index. West Surrey Family History Society has a list of names for the churchyard, and an extract from Alfred Bax's notes for St Nicolas Churchyard taken in 1907.

West Surrey Family History Society CD8 (The The Guildford Collection) has marriage records for Guildford St. Nicolas from to 1837; Baptisms to 1840 and Burials to 1865.

WSFHS CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index) has burial records for Guildford St. Nicolas from 1561 to 1865

WSFHS CD30(Ancient Parishes in the Guildford District) has Baptismal records for Guildford St. Nicolas from 1562 to 1840, Marriages from 1561 to 1837 and Burial records from 1561 to 1865,

The church is in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford. The Guildford Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving registers for this parish, is the Surrey History Centre.


Onslow Village is a locality within the Borough of Guildford in Surrey
