The monumental inscriptions for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of East Clandon were noted in 1977 by Cliff Webb. Some 68 monuments were noted which record either pre 1865 deaths or which give a precise date of birth before 1840.
