The Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Ash St. Peter included a chapelry at Frimley. This became a separate ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England in 1813. Other parts of Ash St Peter became part of a new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Wyke in 1847 and of Ash Vale in 1972.


Ash St. Peter

West Surrey Family History Society CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index - 2nd edition 2009) has burial records for Ash St. Peter from 1548 to 1900.

WSFHS CD42(Ancient Parishes in the Farnham District) has Baptismal records for Ash St. Peter from 1548 to 1840 and Burial records from 1548 to 1840,

Frimley St. Peter

West Surrey Family History Society CD10 (The Surrey Burial Index - 2nd edition 2009) has burial records for St Peter's Frimley from 1606 to 1840.

WSFHS CD42(Ancient Parishes in the Farnham district) has baptismal for St Peter's Frimley from 1589 to 1840; Marriages from 1606 to 1837 and Burials 1606 to 1840.

The church is in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford. The Guildford Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving registers for this parish, is the Surrey History Centre.
