Epsom Methodist church dates from around 1914. Before that the congregation met at a chapel in Waterloo Road Epsom, and previously in a barn in the Weston Road/Kiln Lane area of the town. There is no graveyard at the Methodist church.

The Methodist church stands in the Anglican Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Epsom St. Martin.

Early burials may have taken place in the Parish Church

There are around 1,700 names in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Epsom St. Martin.

West Surrey Family History Society also holds a copy of Alfred Bax's survey of the Inscriptions for Epsom St Martin, the notes are undated but thought to be ca 1890.
