Ruxley Methodist Church was built ca. 1965. In 1997 the old St Francis church, which was just along Ruxley Lane, was declared unsafe and the congregation began to share the Methodist church building. The sharing become a local ecumenical partnership ca 2002.

The former St Francis church was demolished and the building replaced. In 2013 the joint congregation moved from the former Methodist church building to the new St. Francis building. The church is commonly known as Ruxley Church. The former Methodist church building has since been demolished

There was no graveyard at the Methodist church. The monumental Inscriptions for the Parish church - St Mary Ewell are held at Bourne Hall Museum, the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index has war grave information for St Mary's.
