The original Roman Catholic church in Weybridge was St. Charles Borromeo built ca. 1835 which closed ca. 1988. The church was too small for the congregation and a disused Odeon cinema was acquired and converted into a second church - St. Martin de Porres. This church remained in use until ca. 1988 when the new church of Christ the Prince of Peace opened. The building was sold for redevelopment and is now St. Martin's Court.
Many local cemeteries may have Roman Catholic sections see https://www.elmbridge.gov.uk/cemeteries-services/information/ The former church of St. Martin is located in the Anglican Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Weybridge St. James.
