The new ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Oxshott St. Andrew was formed in 1913 from parts of the Ancient Parishesan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Cobham and Stoke d'Abernon, and the ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Claygate Holy Trinity. Claygate was itself formed from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Thames Ditton in 1840.

There are no records for Oxshott St. Andrew in the Surrey Monumental Inscriptions Index, however there are around 800 names from Cobham, 270 names from Stoke d'Abernon and a handful of war graves from Claygate in the Surrey MI Index

The church is in the Anglican Diocese of Guildford. The Guildford Diocesan Record Office, where you should find any surviving registers for this parish, is the Surrey History Centre.
