There are just over 450 names in the Surrey MI Index for the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which, until the 19th century, had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Chiddingfold St Mary.

They were copied in 1980 and 1982 by Cliff and Diana Webb. A large number of the older stones in the Churchyard were completely illegible and were ignored. Many of those partially readable were incomplete.
