The parish church is St Thomas in the centre of the village. Previously the parish church was St Martha on the Hill which was reunited with St. Thomas in 2016. St. Martha’s has been associated at different times with Guildford and Albury

WSFHS has MIs for St Martha but not for Chiddingfold St Thomas which has no graveyard.

A.G. Peake's survey of St Martha's churchyard was made in 1974. There are around 240 names in the Surrey Monumental inscriptions Library. They range from 1798 to 1973.
