This "tin tabernacle" seems to have been built sometime in the 19th century. It is recorded as in use by the Plymouth Brethren by 1963 and was still in use by them in 1991 (when I moved away from the area). The building is now used by a playgroup. There is no graveyard.

The former Farncombe Gospel Hall is within the Anglican ecclesiastical parishan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Farncombe St. John the Evangelist. The parish was created from part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of Godalming St Peter and St Paul in 1849.

There was also a Baptist Church and a Wesleyan Chapel in Farncombe, both are now closed; there was also a Quaker Burial Ground at Binscombe. There is an evangelical church in Binscombe

Farncombe is a locality in Godalming which is a (Civil) Parisha Civil Parish is the bottom most tier of local government in England Sometimes called Town Councils in urban areas
