was created in 1888 from the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St. Nicholas Sutton.
Other parts of the parish of Sutton St Nicholas were moved into Sutton St. Barnabus(1884), Belmont(1916), Benhilton(1863); parts of Benhilton were further moved to St Helier(1930).
