Part of the Ancient Parishan Ancient Parish is a Church of England parish which had both ecclesiastical and civil functions of St Mary Magdalene was moved into the new ecclesiastical parishesan ecclesiastical parish is an administrative area within the Church of England or Roman Catholic church. It is distinct from the civil parish, a local government unit in England of Reigate St Luke in 1871, Reigate St Philip(1956), Reigate St Mark(1860), Redhill St John the Evangelist(1843), Redhill St Matthew(1867),Redhill Holy Trinity(1907), Salfords(1952) and Sidlow Bridge in 1862.

  • Reigate, St Mary Magdalene from 1556 to 1834 and from 1870 to 1875,
  • Reigate Independent Chapel from 1835 to 1837 and from 1856 to 1876,
  • Reigate St.Mark from 1860 to 1875, and
  • Reigate Workhouse from 1848 to 1875.
