St Martha on the Hill is a united parish with St. Thomas Chilworth.
It is accessible only on foot.
The church has been variously associated with Guildford and Albury as well as Chilworth
WSFHS has A.G. Peake's survey of St Martha's churchyard made in 1974. There are around 240 names in the Surrey Monumetnal inscriptions Library. They range from 1798 to 1973.
